Long weekend

YEAHHHHH for long weekends!!! We started the day with our usual busyness. We found out today that she's going to be moving up to the final preschool swimming level though so it will be just 2 more weeks of this routine before we switch days and instructors. Thankfully, her very first teacher was around to help me out by suggesting who she should move to!

She had a brilliant ballet rehearsal, so full of the excitement for next week's show. It was made even more exciting by the fact that they got to dance with Mary Poppins again. She was thrilled!!

After ballet, we got a train to Scarborough. We met Granny & Grandad at Falsgrave Park, where she enjoyed some time chasing and climbing and swinging. We then went on a bear and gruffalo hunt up the big hill to the stone circle and wooden carvings. She quite soon wanted to come down for a drink though. We all went to the Mere where we found her an ice cream. And this beautiful beautiful field of daisies.

We had a lovely walk in the sun, feeding all the baby goslings and their families. We walked round further and spent a while looking at the tadpoles. A bit further round we watched the water skiing. We chased the bear and gruffalo who had followed us from the park. We made granny a posy of wild flowers. We skipped and ran and danced. We cycled home very content and tired!
