Monday

Hetty and I visited Marion this morning to drop off her 60th birthday card and gift. She was on her way out to feed the goats so it was a quick call.

We then walked through the jubilee woods, along Marsh Lane and up Caen Hill flight of locks.

Clive and I went out to buy strips to deter pigeons from pooing on the top of the new pergola. Hope it works.

Florence started her new job today. It's a 20 minute walk and next to Tate Modern so convenient!

We spoke to Henry last night and he gave us chapter and verse about his proposal.  It was very romantic.  Not sure he gets that from his dad!!!! He'd researched metals and gems and completely surprised Rachel. She was delighted as are we!

It's been a beautiful afternoon.
