Females

Getting warmer, about +19. A little cold wind. Got sunny in the evening.

We went to the allotment garden again for a couple of hours. So nice, pleasant weather, not too warm. I sowed on a cultivation box, more tomorrow. Mr S had time at last to put supporting strings between raspberry shoots, and he was pleased. Time always flies and we have to leave for home so soon. But we got few more things done also this time. That's good.

In the picture there is female cones in the European spruce in the sunlight. The tree is by our garden. The fir tree opens its red female flower, the future pine cone. The wind blows a cloud of pollen from the men, stamen flower, some of which is transported to the female flower. The cones turn brown later in the summer. You see the pollen on the opened cone in the picture.
