Quirigua

Close to the border between Honduras and Guatemala it is the home of the tallest steles ever found.

Another amazing thing is that it is just in the middle of the biggest bananas plantation in the world, probably the one that you have on your table now. To enter and exit the site sometimes you have to wait for the harvest to be done here!.
Leaving the site we headed towards Livingston with a boat along the Rio Dulce, after an exciting Tapado a fish soup with coconut and plantain.
