At the Mill

Today Tom, Bob and I made an excursion into the Adelaide Hills - so amazingly accessible from the city.

Gorgeous day, starting at Bridgewater Mill - renowned not just for it's wines, but also it's restaurant. This is the water wheel at the Mill. We arrived too early in the day for lunch (but not for tasting) - but I well recall a lunch here with Bob some 15 years ago which was fabulous. Next time.

A little hiatus in the day when our hire car ran out of fuel between vineyards - horror! Despite the fact that the car had only done 3000 kms, the gauge just stopped working and well, there you go. Or not.

Help arrived within the hour and we were off tasting again.
