Inchcolm

After working this morning, we borrowed a boat this afternoon and blasted around the Forth for a bit.

We explored around the islands - Inch Garvie, Oxcars, Inchmickery, Crammond, Inchkeith and Inchcolm, landing briefly at the latter (pictured).  We also stuck our noses into Granton and Newhaven harbours, and enjoyed the bridges from lots of different angles.

We also enjoyed seeing the cruise ship Jewel of the Seas, moored near Inch Garvie just East of the Forth Bridge.

CyclopsJnr was delighted to be able to have a go at driving, and to help out with "person overboard" drills.  "Bob" is a small bouy with a short length of chain attached as a weight, and CyclopsJnr loved chucking them overboard and tracking them while we came back to pick them up.  CyclopsJnr's favourite bit of driving was making turns at speed - making the boat lean excitingly!

Great fun.

Extras:
 - Inchmickery, looking like a warship
 - Inchkeith, with its lighthouse
