Dig

Up at 5am to take H to the airport on a football Barcelona jolly with Uni. Hit the road and was in Dunkeld by 6.45am.
Brokered a deal with my brother to repair his weedy jungle of a garden. He bought the house three years ago, and not a plant was in the ground. Given a budget I planted up trees, perennials bulbs and for one summer it was beautiful.
My brother is many things but a gardener he ain’t. Hence todays visit… 5 hours later every bed had been dug, planted lots of alchemilia, a pretty thug that will hopefully take over some of the trickier patches, some flag irises, ajuga, and lots of sedum, all dug out of my own garden.
17,000 steps later and a nippy back, rather pleased, how long it will last?
Back to Aberfeldy to pick up three whackered girls and a quiet drive home. Up to Temple to do the fields walk with B. For a catch up and a bump into a fellow blipper at the village hall. After tea. Another walk at Porty to make the most of the amazing sunshine.

Early to bed on 30,000 steps
Pooped but happy
