Cornwall Adventure Day 6 - St Michael's Sunrise

That was a full on day!

It started with a 4am alarm ready to head out to Marazion at 4:30am to  witness sunrise over St Michael's Abbey. With little cloud around it wasn't one of the most spectacular events, but there was little else to complain of; even being "chased" down the causeway by the incoming tide did not worry us, though it was a shock to system on returning to the hotel for breakfast and a break to realise it was still only 7am - I would probably only just be stirring normally!

We then headed out again, this time to Mousehole for some Cornish harbour shots and a sneaky ice cream, then onto view Logan Rock overlooking an almost inaccessible bay with white sand and turquoise blue seas (I would have just loved a swim ... if only I had the energy to scramble down and then back up; a swimsuit would help too!), Sennan Cove and ending up at Botallack for dinner in a local pub (yum!) with pre-dinner and post-dinner sunset views of the mines.  Sunset was not as spectacular as last night, but it was a good day.

P.S. another 4:30am start is planned for tomorrow!
