Meadow foxtail

A walk around the arboretum with friends this morning followed by an excellent lunch in the cafe. A bit overcast today which was a shame after all the sunshine of the last few days. The meadows are starting to look lovely and I really rather like the meadow foxtail grass which is looking at its best at the moment.

I know it's a grass but it is flowering at the moment so I've tagged it for wildflower week.
