At the edge of the arctic

Today the group met members of the photography club ÁLKA and joined them on a trip to the cape Rauðinúpur. The main challenge today was going to be birds and wildlife. I'm not very interested in bird-watching or photographing those flying balls of feathers (but don't get me wrong, they are beautiful!) but the photographers themselves, in this beautiful setting, made excellent subjects for my photos :)

Later we drove to Raufarhöfn and then back again to the cottage in Öxarfjörður.
