Moorhen and Chick

Today’s picture is of an adult moorhen with one of her two babies. I thought the other day there were three, but could only see two this morning.
 
The temperature at noon today was again sixteen degrees Celsius, although the weather app says it is likely to be nineteen degrees later today.
