The Dread Pirate Alexander

I just found a bit of paper yesterday lunchtime (brought home on Thursday...) saying Alexander had to go to nursery in fancy dress today. Eek. Luckily I was able to rustle up this pirate costume from mainly his ordinary clothes. Possibly what is most tragic about my attention to detail here, is that he is wearing one of Bad Granny's 1960s military elastic belts with an anchor buckle which you can't even see (Bad Granny had a very slim waist in the 1960s).

The purpose of this fancy-dress was to have a big fun fundraising sponsored run in the park, as part of the nursery's enterprise project: each room is raising some money to get some new equipment.

P.S. I think Granny has spotted a ship in trouble.
