She's back!

I was beginning to fear that some awful mantis-smiting plague had hit my garden.

Since being overrun with the wee critters when they were teeny weeny, I haven't seen them for months.

Then, just as Cousteau and I were enjoying a good round of 'Find the biscuit', on the fence post and alarming close to Cousteau's tongue, was this little one, cowering and trying to hide in the gate lock.

I grabbed my macro lens and snapped away happily.

S/he's probably looking for a mate, I guess. :-)

I had some potentially good news re photography jobs today; I'm pretty busy, so that's keeping me out of trouble.

Anyway, long list of things to do and dinner with Es tonight, so I'd better get back to it.
