Favourite by Far!

As might be inferred from yesterday's entry, I do not have a particularly sweet tooth. However, an exception is happily made for these utterly delectable chocolates.

Bridgewater chocolates are made in my home town (really a village) of Bridgewater, Connecticut. Once you try one of these blissfully delicious confections, you will become a hopeless addict before you even swallow the first morsel.

Offered here are Hazelnut Toffees, Almond Toffees, Turtles, Peanut Butter Patties, Soft a'Silk Caramels, and Mint Caramels -- all in your choice of milk chocolate or dark. Sinful.

We are in our Boston apartment for the next week or so, and tonight we host our building's monthly Book Club meeting. I brought this two pound box of Bridgewater Chocolates to share with the group. I am impressed with my self control ... the box has remained undisturbed, in its virgin state for the past week now, without the slightest hint of even a furtive lick around the edges!
