Tucked away ...

... in the small church at Chillingham (see extra) , is this magnificent tomb which would not look out of place in a Renaissance cathedral.  Born at Chillingham in 1406, Sir Ralph Grey died in 1443, aged just 36 in France. He rests alongside his wife, Elizabeth.  Taken from a GS and Tiger ride out with Len who had discovered this gem some time before. I must go back with a wide angle lens and tripod.
