Ammonoid Fossil.

An interesting day out with my daughter and grandchildren. As it was raining, we decided to visit the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences, Cambridge. Displays included the world's largest spider, minerals and gemstones, Charles Darwin's collection of rocks, dinosaurs, jurassic marine reptiles and local fossils. The collection is world class covering 550 million years of Earth. I particularly liked the shape and pattern of this Ammonoid Fossil. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Afterwards we went to the cinema to see 'Epic,' a visually splendid animation film. I expected the children to enjoy it, but my daughter and I liked it too.
