Whitepark Bay

We headed north this morning, off to the North Coast. It was the most glorious day, sunny and warm, just perfect. We had a short walk between Portstewart and Portrush, a place called Ringaree, which apparently means 'windy point', and honestly, it normally is very windy on the North Coast!! Today there was no wind, it was perfectly calm. Today's blip is of Whitepark Bay which is owned by the National Trust, it's a beautiful golden beach.
The extras are of the rock pools at Ringaree, there were some people keeping their feet cool in the water. There was also a cruise ship in the bay, the Silver Cloud, from the Silversea cruise line, a luxury cruise company, this ship had 232 passengers and 202 crew! We watched the tender taking passengers in to the harbour.
