Teddington

MrMacD and I went for a walk along Teddington High Street this morning.  I need something for the pesky cold that doesn’t seem to want to disappear, and we wanted to buy wine and chocolates to take to a friend who was cooking us dinner tonight.  It was lovely to wander up and down and we made successful purchases.  We returned home briefly then walked back to Teddington Station, crossed over to the other side and met three friends in The Railway Pub.  We had a most enjoyable lunch, with lots of talking and laughter.  It was so good to see them.  After lunch we walked to visit the daughter of a long-term friend of MrMacD’s who has a shop in the area.  She creates amazing flower arrangements - of course I forgot to take a photo!  She was delighted to see us.  We walked back home and I had a LemSip while we waited until it was time to walk to a friend’s place along the road.  We weren’t expecting to see his wife, but caught her before she left for a pre-arranged evening with girlfriends, while her husband drove us to see another mutual friend.  She’s an excellent cook but has no idea of timing so, whilst the meal was delicious and we had an enjoyable evening chatting and catching up on all her news, we didn’t get home until midnight so we’re on the naughty step!

The blip shows an interesting character outside a cigar/chocolate/gift shop, and a couple of shots of The Railway Pub.
