EV7 - Day 11 -Grain Lines

Our final cycling day. We rode mostly up on the levee separating the Po River from the agricultural land of the Po Valley. A leisurely 30 miles in hazy bright sunshine. We decided to not repeat riding through the greater urban area of Bologna. We did that as a ‘test ride’ before we left Bologna for the Dolomites. Instead we rode to Ostiglia, a town on the outskirts of Bologna and took a train. We were pleasantly surprised by an entire train car dedicated to bikes. Inside there were racks for hanging 60 bikes! No seats in this car, but it was air-conditioned!
