Saturday

Clive presented me with a new toy and it is brilliant!!!

It's a rechargeable cordless strimmer and will transform my path maintenance in the cutting.

Today, I tackled the orchard and some long paths. Hot and itchy but easy peasy!

Nigel is feeling better so, despite the hospital telling him to take a couple of days off, Clive drove him to Bradford-on-Avon to collect the car.

Chama had surgery on a knuckle on Thursday and must not use her left hand for a couple of weeks so life is a bit tricky at the moment. I didn't see them today because it's Georgie's birthday tomorrow so we are going round in the afternoon.

The Caen Hill flight is open again. There were 15 narrowboats negotiating the locks this morning and an army of CRT volunteers keeping everyone moving. Hot work!
