Bright-Eyed

I love an osteospermum! Today I hauled the planters out into the sunshine! (They had been left in the shade of the back wall while we were away.)

The strawberries (in pots in the greenhouse) are beginning to ripen. They are new plants this year, bought bare-rooted in the spring, having been in cold storage. I wasn't sure they'd do, but they seem to be doing fine.

John and Mabel came round for the keys, so they can feed the cats when we are away. They have just got a kitten - Charlie - and he's a dead ringer for Emily's Cookie. Same age, same stripes.
