Simply Hearts

Tree of Hearts or Cercidiphyllaceae. 
This kind of tree originates from Japan and China and apparently its heartwood habitats there are threatened by the rural development; recovery of these trees is slow.. I learned on internet. 
Glad I found this wonderful "Tree of Hearts" (Hartjesboom in Dutch) in the botanical garden at Delft on another hot Summer's day here.
