Newbie/ New Bee

I'm the newbie -- my Panasonic Lumix FZ200 arrived today, and I've been exploring its capabilities in our back yard, dodging raindrops and dealing with sudden sunshine.

Bees were the most interesting -- and challenging -- subjects, and this one was my favorite, upside down on a salal blossom (Gaultheria shallon, native to western North America).

This makes today's bee the new bee.

(As you might expect, I'm behind on commenting, thanks to my new toy!)
