Trying to keep cool

Just heard a peal of thunder and spotted a lightning flash .... hope it brings some much needed rain.

A brief walk this morning to one of my favourite places .... Rouken Glen. Park. Too hot to walk up to the pond from the garden centre cr park so I parked beside the Boathouse Cafe and took a quick walk round the pond. 

Even this little cygnet was trying to keep cool by staying among the reeds.
