'Back lads, they're using Scottish Bluebells'

Which won't mean anything to you unless you are Scottish and of a certain age *. Another beautiful day and I popped into the lovely oasis of calm that is the old graveyard at St Johns, on the corner between Princes Street and Lothian Road. Lots of lovely flowers in bloom there at the moment so if you are in the vicinity in the next few days I would definitely recommend dropping by. A real feeling of being in a secluded woodland and not a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of the Edinburgh city centre.
* The title is from an advert for a brand of matches. In the ad an invading English army being beaten back by Scottish defenders who had used the matches to light a fire to heat up their boiling oil. Clearly they were aiming at a very specific market!
