DMV Day

I made an appointment almost a month ago for a new California driver's license and today was the day. I showed up ten minutes early and only had to stand in line (the first time anyway) for twenty before I was able to present my documents. Then I at least got to sit down to wait for my number to be called for the paperwork verification, eye test, and payment. From then, it moved pretty rapidly through the photo and knowledge test stages. Now I just have to wait for my new license to show up in the mail.
