Hydrangeas Again

After a busy day we often don't feel like a walk in the evening. Today after taking a photo of these hydrangeas in the garden, I decided I had to make the effort. Even though it was only two miles and mainly on urban paths and pavements, I was glad I did. The towering cumulus clouds over the rooftops were spectacular. At one point their dark, towering forms backlit by the sun, made them look like an army of clouds in the sky, reminiscent of photos I have seen of the half-buried torsos of the Terracotta Army. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera with me to record the dramatic scene, so the hydrangeas will have to suffice!
