Not quite sunset

Partly cloudy warm day, with a good breeze. Fetched a newspaper and extra strawberries first thing. Visitors, friends from Los Altos who'd been to Arran for a week, came in .. we talked, and walked to Inverleith and through the Botanics, and talked some more. Put together a quick late lunch for them, then they went off to go first to London and then the long haul flight back. A most enjoyable afternoon. 

At Inverleith, we saw the adult swans, but no cygnets .. hoping the remaining four were hidden in the reeds ..
