100% Vegetarian.

It is not always easy eating out in Aberdeen and the N.E. of Scotland if you are a vegetarian. There's usually very little choice if any, and the very popular dishes are some sort of pasta or stroganoff.
However, situated five minutes by car from where we stay is this place. It offers a choice of dishes at very reasonable prices. It is a very unusual building inside and out. They sometimes hold music evenings and we love it.
It was a beautiful morning yesterday, so we decided to take the dogs for a walk to Cullykhan near Pennan.
As we approached, we could see there was a thick haar. The approach road was very badly rutted and part of the wooden path leading down was missing lots of bits and there were rusty nails sticking up. I emailed the council to make them aware of this as it is a lovely place. Just before we left, Joe decided to roll on something very smelly so we had to drive home with the windows wide open. He did not enjoy the bath too much!!!!
We have friends coming to stay tonight so just putting some wine and beer in the fridge.
Enjoy the weekend.
