Exton

This is us nearing the end of our walk on my birthday. We have been talking of walking the South Downs way for a while now. There has always been a reason not to do it.  Today we completed tge first leg of the trail from Winchester to Exton. Sadly when we arrived in the small village the pub was closed. Fortunately we got talking to a mother and daughter who had been meeting at the pub and the mother agreed to give us a lift back to Winchester, saving us a taxi fare.
