The Bunny and the Snake

Baby rabbits seem to be everywhere this year, so feeling lazy, I decided to go out into the yard to sit and wait for one.  It wasn't long before this tiny little fur ball came out of the weeds.  He sat for a few seconds, then ran up the hill, followed by ... a snake!  This Eastern Garter Snake (in extras) raced after the bunny, but was outmatched.  Apparently garter snakes are carnivores, eating frogs, small fish, insects, and occasionally mice and small birds.  They swallow them whole so there's no way this adorable bunny was in any real danger.
