Wound up in Wexford

Reading in the bath

W and I had a stay-at-home day.  I had intended to get along to the Adamstown show (Adamstown is nearby, and it seemed a good opportunity to get involved in the local community) but the persistent pain in the gluteal region, which is majorly aggravated by walking, made that seem inadvisable.  Instead, I did some sewing.  W mowed some grass.

Z got a haircut first thing, then the family went off in their hire car.  Casper was (for a change - he doesn't seem to like car travel) being quite calm, and the weather was pretty good (sadly, after a glorious few weeks, rain is forecast for almost every day during their stay - but that's Ireland!) so they risked the drive up to Wicklow, and had a lovely walk round.

Casper likes his bath, and Z is keen to instill good reading habits.

After he was in bed, we enjoyed a lovely dinner cooked by W, and then played the family version of Rummy.
