Columbia

In the wonderful National Museum of Scotland, a printing press that the museum bought in 1865 and used till 1964. It's called a Columbian press after Columbia, the personification of the USA. An American eagle forms part of the counterweight. It's also decorated with dolphins, symbol of wisdom.
