Giant Saguaro Cactus Flowers II

The flowers on saguaro, like most cactus, last only one day. If you compare yesterday's blip with today's you'll see where those flowers were wilted. You can also note where the buds were where today's flowers bloomed.

Please keep in mind that these flowers are about 20 feet (6.1 m) off of the ground! This saguaro also starts out straight and tall but leans a little towards the afternoon sun at the top.

There are more buds yet to bloom, but I promise you this is the last blip of this particular giant I will make, no matter how smitten I am with it.

However, there may be other saguaro, blooming or not, in the future.
