Fox and Cubs

A colleague from work came up to the village today. We walked through the village to show him around, and then after lunch we went on a walk with the local biodiversity society/RSPB group. I think he enjoyed the day out and I'm sure the sun cheered him up - it's been cool and damp since he moved to the UK.

Today's blip is a Pilosella aurantiaca (also known as: Fox-and-cubs, Orange Hawkweed, Tawny Hawkweed, Devil's Paintbrush, or Grim-the-collier) I blipped this early on the walk and I think it's the best picture from the day.
