“Promise Fulfilled”

That is the title for this sculpture of a girl releasing a bird from her hand. I saw this on my walk from our condo to the nearby YMCA building where I go for my Aqua Fit classes. I was looking for a patch of grass where I could stand a while to get connected to the earth. Being in the center of downtown, the ground is mostly concrete around here, so I was pleased to see this patch to stand on outside the YWCA building across the street.
There is lots of greenery around, but mostly from trees, which is nice, because they provide shade from the summer heat.
