Women's Omnium Cycle Race

Today we had the pleasure of watching a good friend race in the Women's Omnium Cycle Race at Gosling Sports Centre. Clare has only in the past two years developed a strong passion for cycling so it's great to see her doing so well so quickly.

In two of her races she finished in 1st place which placed her in 7th overall. The last win, seen in this photo, saw Clare powering to victory in a last lap sprint finish that left all the favourites in her wake. Tremendous win, great sprinting, very exciting stuff, well done Clare.
