Downpour

We were playing a friendly match at the club today against Portland, a club in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Four rinks triples, so 24 players in total. This was the last man to retrieve his bowls after play was abandoned after the second downpour. The green had ponds forming, so we stayed inside and had a nice tea together. We only managed to play seven ends. It was nice while it lasted.
