Fad Gone Bad

A cabin nearby has sat empty and decaying for many years. (The clogged drainpipe in the lower left is an indicator of how long it has been unmaintained.)

Recently a young couple has started renovating it. Some of the contents are being disposed of. Here it costs 15 cents a pound (1/2 kg.) to drop off junk. To avoid a fee, it is common to place it by the road in hopes that someone will have a use for it and take it away.
This was their pile of ‘junk’.

Later…the bread maker and the microwave were gone.

At least one person still owns a bread maker..
