Light at the end of the tunnel?

In October 2007 our industry (construction) started falling over the edge of a cliff. All throughout 2008 it plumetted. It stopped falling a couple of months ago and is now bumping along the bottom although it seems to have perked up a bit this month indicating that perhaps we may have started to turn the corner. Our industry is traditionally the first to suffer a recession, but the first to recover. If we have turned the corner, or seen the light at the end of the tunnel, or seen the first green shoots of recovery, then it's good news for us - and more importantly good news for everyone.

It's still cold and wet and gloomy, but nice to be going in the right direction for a change.
