Pre-conference

I’m at the JMCC by 3:00, unloading a car full of whiteboards, flip charts, PostIts, and Sharpies. They’ve been streamed in the rafters of the packing shed since XP2016, so need a bit of a work down :)

Then we head to Blonde for dinner. The volunteers (Jo, Donald, Sath, Paula, Jeannie), Tonya and Becka, MrHinsh, and Kaitlin W. I take photos for the welcome slide deck.

After dinner we go to The Mighty Midge for a flight of three Caol Isla for £10. The owner, Colin, makes the evening even better value by giving us another couple of complimentary drachms. I’m in my room at the Scholar by midnight, but will feel a bit rough tomorrow morning.
