The Moriston River Race 2013.

Second year this event has been run. One hundred competitors, twice as many as last year. All take part in the first and second heats, setting off a minute apart. The fastest twenty times getting in to the final.

Plenty water is guaranteed, as it's released from the Dundreggan dam.  Competitors were all taking it far more seriously this year, and the whole organisation of the event was far more professional too - with full electronic timing.

The course isn't very long, but definitely is not for kayaking novices, or the fainthearted, as said last year...
