For a reason I've not yet investigated exhaustively the well-inflated Gatorskin seems much more inclined to Tiddlywink small stones sharply sideways, though mostly not yet into anything shiny and metal and painted. From the increasingly thin-feeling rear it'll soon be time to start looking around for a cheap source, though not the same source as last time on the grounds that non-collapsible tyres ought not to be twisted quite as much as these were during postage.
