one last brekkie for the road

The watermelon supplies of Crete are plentiful but I still think our hotel might be relieved to chop fewer now that these insatiable eaters have departed.

A last day packing and then relaxing at the beach and pool. As we waited to leave Isaac said “Actually Mummy I think I wish I could live here forever. But I do need to check Dave the sloth is okay. And Grandad.”

We are on our way. Heavy hearts and many emotions but more than ready to go and be with loved ones.

What a gift of a trip.
