Lowland Dune Heath

This is an interesting nature reserve which used to be an M.O.D. training area. Great efforts have been made to remove invasive shrubs and vegetation such as gorse. 
There are plans now to introduce sheep, goats, and cattle to graze areas and return the land its natural state, including protection of the wonderful areas of heather.
