Brian's Bits

Related?

Would you believe they're both related; being Digitalis family?
On the left - Digitalis Lutea, probably the last sighting this year.
Seems "family" was an incorrect choice of label, but they're STILL related:-
"Digitalis lutea, the straw foxglove or small yellow foxglove, is a species of flowering plant in the plantain family Plantaginaceae, that is native to western and southern Europe and North West Africa. A short-lived herbaceous perennial or biennial, it grows to 1 m tall."
On the right - What's "left" of the "Common or garden" Foxgloves, long gone weeks ago.  This is rather odd in that if I recall correctly Alice liked the yellow one but wanted rid of the normal "Wild" ones.  I'd better check when we/I bought the yellow one.
