IMPACT 'Get Cooking' course in Crawley

It is estimated by the World Health Organisation that over 100 million children under 5 are underweight. In the meantime, some 43 million of the world's under -5s are overweight/obese and it's on the rise.

As well as tackling the problem of malnutrition in the developing world, IMPACT's UK 'Get Cooking' courses go back to basics - teaching healthy meal preparation on a budget.

Today we were at Broadfield Children and Family Centre in Crawley. Participants tried cooking risotto two ways - on the hob and in the oven. Both methods produced tasty results - proving you don't have to slave over a hot oven to eat a healthy, homecooked meal!
