Another successful import

About a quarter of a century ago at a visit to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show we were captivated by the most beautiful azalea we had ever seen. It had a heady scent, lovely colouring and was not as leggy as many of the species. We made a note of the name and bought it from a local nursery.

It grew happily in a pot on our patio until we moved the 300 miles to our present home, where we planted it out and kept our fingers crossed. Look at it now! Today's blip shows it in tight bud.

In case you are interested the name is Silver Slipper.
