Whew!

Well, that’s the Jambos through to the next round but it was a close run thing. Our infamously leaky defence lost an early goal and struggled against quicker opponents but they ground it out. Maybe not the highest quality football but definitely better than their last display so if they can just keep improving with each game …..
Not such a cheery morning though as we nipped into to see my uncle in hospital. He’s had a gallbladder problem (undiagnosed till too late) and after a few months is now pretty much done in. He’s 96, youngest and last of his generation, has outlived my dad by 40 years!
