harvest

Woke to rain and the painter was defeated by it so he headed off after painting the inside of the porches.. hope he will finish the rest tomorrow. 

A lovely quiet home day with our youngest before she headed up to London then a quick nap before going out to supper this evening.  A friends daughter has requested that I give her our honesty for her wedding.. sad that we cannot be at the wedding as we will be up north but only too happy to let our honesty be there instead.  It looked lovely in the back of the car and they were so delighted to receive it.. more than they had thought so that was lovely. A great fun evening and home to a snoozy cat who hasn't ventured out all day.
